Well I've been and come back. Got some good feedback on Bill.

Cleaned him up a bit and set him up at Currumbin. Here he is 'in situ'.

Swell Sculpture Festival

Have had the Billy Hughes bust accepted into the Swell sculpture festival at Currumbin in September. Here's hoping someone will pick him up! Am looking forward to a few days in the South East Queensland warmth.

Weedy eel

So here is my latest work, made at the National Limestone Symposium 2009. I'm pretty pleased with how it turned out in 7 days. The eel head is of dolomite (harder) and the base is of limestone (softer). It's a pretty big one 3m x 1m x 1m. Will have more photos once it's 'in situ' at the eel farm.
