Since clearing the space for the shed (2007), completing the walling (2008-9) and having the slab laid (2009-10), I've been renewing the house foundations (separate posting to come!) whilst managing the domestic duties (2010-11).
Now am finally starting the formblock shed. Am laying 6 blocks a day, unless it's a corner...so the kit is manageable working solo. 60 ml of oxide for colouring. Blocks are 7:1 washed quartz sand, cement.
Thanks for dropping by... I hope you like what you see here. I am available for commissions. Please check the archives for other slideshows of work and feel free to email njparrott at gmail dot com or contact me through the blog by making a comment on a posting. Thanks.

Nice work Nick! Must feel good as it's coming together.
Hi Nick,
Looking very good. You seem to be having no trouble grasping the concept.
I like the method of door frame you are using and the beveled architrave.
Cheers keep us posted.
